bisk load and auction

Colaboration that Edwina and I gave to the auction.....
Loaded a bisk for the maiden voyage of the new kiln ( it does have some bricks from the wood that came down ,I 'm happy to of saved a little money ) With the big auction and family coming I will not fire until after . The Penland auction still has tickets available if you know of anyone that is interested . It is an amazing event with beautiful work generously given by past instructors and residents .

Kiln is now waiting on me to finish the pots .

Last of the wood kiln . It had a good life and a few of the bricks will go in the new kiln .. The rest are in the landfill .
