Firing

Came home from Wildacres and loaded the kiln with Lucy's help . It took 6 hours and due to all of the short stuff I used 26 kiln shelves . Thank goodness for advancers .... Firing is finished and I will unload on Tues . Will have some new work for the Spruce Pine Potters Market this Sat -Sun . Oct.9-10....

Unloaded . Got some great color but many pots were underfired even though cone 10 was over ... Second firing of this kiln and no matter how many years we are always learning ....
